Who is RootsTimber and what do we do?
Rootstimber is a planing mill founded in 2001 in Viljandi County, Karksi. The main activity is planing of sawn timber into construction and finishing material.
On the automated production line, we use a sawing machine, a bandsaw, a Weining planer, G&T machines, a thermal foiling machine and a pundling machine. With the help of these devices, we can offer our customers various production solutions.
The production capacity of Rootstimber is 2000m3 of planed material per month. We export most of our products to European and Asian markets. Our portfolio has over 100 different profiles.
We buy our raw materials from sawmills in Finland and Estonia.
Rootstimberi tootmisvõimsus on 2000m3 höövelmaterjali kuus. Enamus oma toodangust ekspordime Euroopa ja Aasia turgudele.
